Julia R. Glanternik, MD, is the inaugural Vaccine and Infectious Disease Fellow at Kaiser Permanente Northern California’s Vaccine Study Center. Julia received her Bachelor of Arts at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, and her Doctor of Medicine from State University of New York, Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY. She completed her Pediatrics training at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Prior to joining the Vaccine Study Center, Julia completed a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.
Julia’s main research interests are in infectious diseases and infection prevention. Her current projects look at vaccine safety and vaccine effectiveness.
