Creation of an ASD Family Biobank for Genomic and Epidemiologic Analysis of Autism Spectrum Disorders

The central aim of the ASD Family Biorepository is to act as a resource to promote and facilitate research on genetic and environmental influences on autism spectrum disorders and response to treatment. We are committed to providing fair access to its data and biospecimen resources to qualified investigators to conduct research that furthers these goals. The resource will be a special collection within the existing Research Program on Genes, Environment and Health (RPGEH) resource. Specimen collection, processing, storage, governance, and access to the ASD Family Biorepository will be based on procedures used by the RPGEH.
