COVID-19 Response GrantAdults with intellectual or developmental disabilities may be especially impacted by the ways the COVID-19 pandemic has led to drastic changes in usual daily routines and the way healthcare encounters have been transitioned to virtual (video, telephone) visits. This project will characterize healthcare utilization and health status among adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) during the COVID-19 pandemic, comparing to similar indices in the pre-COVID period. Among adults with chronic health conditions that require ongoing management (such as diabetes, heart disease, or mental health conditions), we will also compare healthcare utilization between adults with and without ASD.
