Luke Grosvenor, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research and member of the Autism Research Program within the Women’s and Children’s Health Section. His research interests include perinatal health conditions, gene-environment interactions, and co-occurring behavioral and medical conditions in childhood and adolescence. His work is conducted using data from multiple cohorts, including the CDC Study to Explore Early Development (SEED), Mental Health Research Network (MHRN), and the NIH Autism Center of Excellence: Combining advances in Genomics and Environmental science to accelerate Actionable Research and practice in ASD (GEARs) Network.
Dr. Grosvenor completed his PhD in Psychiatric Epidemiology from the Department of Mental Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (dissertation entitled, “Genetic and environmental influences on autism spectrum disorder and related quantitative traits”) and his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cornell University. Prior to graduate training he worked as a research assistant first at the National Institute of Mental Health and then the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative.
