Huang, Andrew

Andrew Huang, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research and a member of the Health Care Delivery and Policy section and Cancer section. His research interests include prediction modeling, causal inference, and the use of observational data to inform clinical guidelines and medical decision making. He currently works with Mary Reed, DrPH, on projects related to using data to improve care processes in the emergency room setting and Marilyn Kwan, PhD, on projects related to improving treatment processes for patients with bladder cancer.

Dr. Huang completed his PhD in Health Services Research in the Department of Health Services, Policy and Practice at the Brown University School of Public Health and his MS in Health Policy and Economics at Weill Cornell Medicine. Prior to graduate training, he worked as an analyst at Blue Shield of California and Mathematica Policy Research.
