Fernando Velayos, MD, is the Director of the newly created Kaiser Permanente Northern California Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program. He serves as the Associate Editor for the journal Digestive Diseases and Sciences; is on the Editorial Board of Gastroenterology, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease journals, and serves as a councilor for the IBD section of the American Gastroenterology Association.
