Kaiser Permanente Artificial Intelligence Echocardiogram Interpretation for Systematic Integration and Guided Healthcare Transformation (The KP AI ECHO INSIGHT Study)

Echocardiography, or ultrasound imaging of the heart, is a high-volume diagnostic test within Kaiser Permanente Northern California. AI has been developed to automate TTE interpretation of cardiac structure and function but has not been prospectively evaluated in actual clinical practice. This study will evalute whether AI augmentation can reduce time spent by sonographers and cardiologists while preserving interpretation accuracy.
